Challenge:
- Due to an abundance of shade, the grass, flowers and other foliage located throughout the residence were not growing well or receiving ideal amounts of direct sunlight.
- Restructure and rescue landscape from deteriorating and creating a costly eyesore.
Approach:
- Study the layout of the Fowler residence to help re-evaluate the layout of the landscape and introduce new landscape that would thrive in the climate.
- Remove all existing grass and landscape.
- Install Japanese-style garden incorporating pea gravel pathways, boulders and shade-loving plants.
Result:
- Developed an attractive and functional landscape design equipped with new plants that would complement the layout and the natural elements exposed to the landscape.
